Keepsakes, Not Disposables

Wrapped with Intention

We design keepsakes, not disposables — choosing eco-friendly materials and multi-functional packaging, so what holds your shawl is worth keeping too.

Shawl Care

Kept Soft, Kept Luminous

A fine Kashmiri shawl can outlive us all. A little care keeps it ready to be passed on.

  1. 01

    Let it rest

After wearing, air your shawl for a few hours before folding it away; fine fibres recover their loft.

  2. 02

    Dry clean only

Choose a cleaner experienced with fine wool and silk — especially for embroidered and tilla pieces.

  3. 03

    Fold, don’t hang

Hanging stretches the weave over time. Fold softly, with as few creases as possible.

  4. 04

    Store it breathing

Keep it in cotton or muslin, never plastic, in a cool, dry place away from direct sun.

  5. 05

    Guard against moths

Tuck dried neem leaves or cedar beside it, and air the shawl every few months.

  6. 06

    Fragrance first

Apply attar or perfume and let it settle before you wrap — oils and alcohol can mark delicate fibres.

  7. 07

    Mind your jewellery

Rings, brooches and bag clasps can catch embroidery; slip them on after your shawl.

  8. 08

    Steam, don’t press

Release creases with gentle steam held away from the cloth — never iron directly on embroidery.
